Republika Srpska’s controversial 2002 Srebrenica Report ultimately provoked the formation of the RS Government Srebrenica Commission which, under relentless pressure from the then international High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Paddy Ashdown, composed another report in 2004 which was in line with the official Western narrative on the subject. Since both reports were politically motivated they are of little value for an accurate understanding of the events to which they refer. But they are significant historical documents.
