This detailed and abundantly documented Memorandum about war crimes committed against the Serbian population in Eastern Bosnia (municipalities of Bratunac, Skelani, and Srebrenica) was submitted to the Secretary General of the UN by the delegation of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on 2 June, 1993. The Memorandum received scant media or political attention amidst numerous expressions of grave concern over the suffering of other ethnic communities in the region. The Memorandum remains an important source document for the serious study of ethnic conflict in the general area of Srebrenica during the Bosnian civil war in the 1990s. We present the Memorandum here in its integral form, divided into six segments, in order to preserve it from undeserved oblivion.
